Yes, things that are curious, have no aparent reason, or, just, some more Videogame culture for you... Post your owns...
For example:
Maxis: the company who did Sim city games, and "the sims" ...But where do you think that name came from? It comes from the hour his foundator was born: Six A.M. so, if you read it reversed, it is MAxis. Somewhat egocentric, isn't it?

I don't think it's too egocentric...
Sonic 2, level select: Go to the sound test, listen to sounds 19, 65, 09, 17
1965\09\17, Yuji Naka's birth date
Sonic 2, debug mode enable: Go to the sound test, listen to sounds 1, 9, 9, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4
1994\11\24, Sonic 2 beta release date

Wow, that is a really curious one! ^^
Another one:
Sega CD (US version of the Mega CD) and Mega CD weren't exactly the same machine, Sega CD's procesor was a bit Faster... nobody knows why...

That's the only reason I know Yuji's birthday.. I played Sonic 2 so much, I still remember that code that I put in every once in a while. :-)

I also used 4, 1, 2, 6 to acquire all emeralds; do you have any idea on what does 4126 mean?
